Clover's Shared Meadow

Once upon a time, on a green and sunny farm, a gentle cow named Clover lived in a big meadow full of clover flowers. One morning, a family of rabbits came looking for a new home nearby. "There is so little grass left where we live," said the littlest rabbit. Clover looked at her big, beautiful meadow and said kindly, "There is more than enough room here for all of us." The rabbits happily made their new burrow under the old oak tree. Soon, a family of ducks arrived too, looking for a pond to swim in, and Clover showed them the little pond at the edge of her meadow. Every animal that came to Clover's meadow was welcomed with a warm smile, and the meadow grew busier and busier, full of hopping, swimming, and singing friends. One day, a strong summer storm knocked down part of the old fence. All the animals worked together, carrying branches and stones to fix it. "Thank you for sharing your home with us," said the rabbit family. "A meadow is always better and more beautiful when it is shared," said Clover. From that day on, Clover's meadow was known as the happiest, friendliest place on the whole farm.
