The Table Astronaut
Once upon a time, the dining chair was transformed into a high-tech space capsule! The child placed a soft cloth napkin on their lap: "Seatbelt fastened, ready for dining mission!" While the space capsule was in flight, astronauts had to stay safely in their seats so their space soup wouldn't float away. The child held their spoon, taking steady, calm bites: scoop, chew, swallow. No running around the room, no jumping on the floor! Daddy and Mommy sat in neighboring capsules, chatting about the day's adventures. When everyone finished eating, the child wiped their mouth with the napkin: "Mission complete! May I please be excused?" "Permission granted, Captain!" smiled Daddy with a proud salute.
