The Tiger Who Learned to Share
Once upon a time, deep in the tall green jungle, there was a watering hole where all the animals came to drink. A proud tiger named Tara believed it belonged only to her. "This is my water, go find your own!" she would say to the other animals, and the elephants, monkeys, and birds all had to walk far away to find water instead. One very hot summer, the sun blazed down and every other watering hole dried up completely. Tara's own watering hole began to shrink smaller and smaller each day. A wise old elephant gently said, "Water is meant to be shared by everyone, Tara." Tara thought about all her friends walking so far away just for a drink, and she felt sorry for how she had acted. She invited everyone back to the watering hole, and the monkeys, birds, and elephants all came together, drinking side by side happily. Tara found that sharing the water made the jungle feel warm and friendly again. She even made new friends who taught her fun games to play in the water. From that day on, Tara welcomed every animal to her watering hole with a warm smile, and learned that some things, like water and friendship, are always better when shared.
