Counting Pearly Whites

Once upon a time, Maya visited the friendly dental office. Inside the room was a magical dental chair that could ride up like an elevator! Maya hopped on with her sunglasses on. The chair went up, up, up: wheee! The friendly dentist smiled: "Let's count your sparkling pearls, Maya!" Maya opened wide: "Ahhh!" The dentist used a tiny round mirror to count: "One, two, three... twenty shiny white teeth! And not a single sugar bug in sight!" The dentist gave each tooth a tickly polish with sweet strawberry paste: buzz, tickle! Then Maya rinsed with a tiny cup of water and spit with a splash. "You take such good care of your teeth!" cheered the dentist, letting Maya choose a toy ring from the treasure box. Maya smiled her brightest, pearliest smile all the way home.
