The Elephant and the Tiny Ant

Once upon a time, in a sunny meadow, there lived a very big elephant named Ellie. One day, Ellie was walking to the lake for a cool drink of water when she heard a tiny voice calling from the tall grass. It was a little ant, stuck under a heavy leaf. "Please, can you help me?" the ant squeaked. Ellie leaned down carefully and lifted the leaf with her long trunk. The tiny ant crawled out and thanked her with a big smile. "You are so big and strong," said the ant. "And you were so brave to ask for help," said Ellie, and they became good friends. A few days later, Ellie's foot got stuck between two big rocks by the water. She could not pull herself free, no matter how hard she tried. The tiny ant remembered how kind Ellie had been. She called all her ant friends, and together they dug around the rocks. Slowly, gently, Ellie's foot came loose at last. "Thank you, little friend," said Ellie happily. "Even someone very small can help someone very big," said the ant with a proud smile. From that day on, the elephant and the ant shared every sunny afternoon together, showing everyone in the meadow that friendship comes in all sizes.
