Hi, My Name Is Sam!

Once upon a time, Sam stood near the preschool sandbox watching a boy with a yellow toy dump truck. Sam wanted to play, but felt shy. His teacher gently whispered: "You can try the Magic Hello!" Sam took a brave step forward, smiled warmly, and waved his hand: "Hi, my name is Sam! Would you like to build a sandcastle together?" The boy looked up, smiled with bright eyes, and said: "I'm Toby! Yes, let's fill the dump truck with sand!" Together, they scooped sand, made tall towers with plastic cups, and dug a moat around the castle. By afternoon recess, Sam and Toby were the best of friends, racing tricycles side by side. Saying a simple "Hello" had opened the door to a whole new world of fun.
