The Three Little Pigs
Once upon a time, three little pigs decided to build their own houses in the meadow. The first little pig built his house out of straw because it was quick and easy. The second little pig built his house out of sticks because it was a little sturdier. The third little pig worked hard and built his house out of strong red bricks. One day, a big windy storm rolled across the meadow, huffing and puffing through the trees. The straw house wobbled and swayed, so the first little pig hurried to his brother's stick house. But the stick house creaked and shook too, so both pigs ran to their sister's brick house. The brick house stood strong and steady, keeping out the wind and rain. All three pigs snuggled inside, warm and safe, listening to the storm outside. "Your house is the strongest of all!" said the first little pig. "Building carefully takes longer, but it was worth it," said the third little pig with a smile. The next morning, the storm passed and the sun came out brightly. The three pigs worked together to rebuild the straw and stick houses, stronger this time. From that day on, the three little pigs always helped each other build, and their meadow became the coziest place around.
